B2B Service Resale
As a B2B resale partner, you will register our services to your own WEDOS customer account, and distribute access to the end customers from there. WEDOS offers the following options:
- End customer accounts: One way to resell WEDOS services is asking your end customers to create WEDOS accounts and share services to these accounts for the customers to manage via WEDOS.global admin panel ⧉. This option requires the least amount of setup on your part, but may direct customers to buy services directly from WEDOS. To learn more, see the chapter WEDOS End Customers.
- WEDOS API: A more robust way is to use WEDOS API (WAPI) to manage your end customer’s services from your own admin interface. This option requires you to integrate our API into your system, but your customers never have to register anywhere else. To learn more, see the chapter Resale via WAPI.
WEDOS End Customers
The easiest way to mediate WEDOS services to your end customers is to use our service-sharing methods. We recommend this solution for testing purposes, or for B2B partners with relatively few end customers/services.
| ✅ Pros | ❌ Cons |
|---|---|
| Out-of-the-box solution | End customers must create a WEDOS account |
| No custom code required | End customers must use WEDOS admin panel(s) |
| Not recommended for 100+ services | |
| No automation |
The system currently differentiates between sharing Protection (via the Members method) and Zone (via Authorized Users) services.
To resell services to WEDOS end customers, follow these steps:
- Ask the end customer to create a WEDOS account ⧉ and share the account login and ID with you.
- Create the services on your own account.
- Share them to the end customer via the Members or Authorized Users method.

Protection: Members
To share a WEDOS.protection service to another WEDOS user (in this case your end customer), follow the guide Global – Members. Adding the end user as a Member will allow them to either view (in Restricted mode) or manage assigned services in your customer account via their account.
The system currently doesn’t allow sharing any other service through the Members method.
Zone (DNS): Authorized Users
Adding the end customer as an authorized user allows them to treat a service as if it was in their account.
Authorized User management is currently only available in the WEDOS customer admin panel, which is separate and visually different from the WEDOS.global admin panel, but uses the same login information.
To share Zone (DNS) management to another user, follow these steps:
- Log into the WEDOS customer admin panel ⧉ using your WEDOS account.
- In the navigation bar, select My Account Customer.
- In the left menu, select Authorized Users.
In this interface, you can add, edit and remove authorized users.

To add a new Authorized User for WEDOS DNS, proceed with these steps:
- Click the Add Authorized User button.
- Enter the user’s login e-mail and ID. They can find this information in the WEDOS.global admin panel ⧉ by clicking their name in the upper right corner.
- Click the Add button.
- In the Assigned Permissions table, select DNS and click the Add button.
- In the Setup authorization for DNS table, select the individual services (including templates) to share and click the Save Permissions button.

Make sure to assign individual (or all) DNS domains to the Authorized User. If you only assign the DNS group, the user will not see any services under their account.
Immediately after the DNS services are assigned, the authorized user will be able to see them in their WEDOS.global admin panel, under the ZONE tab.

Resale via WAPI
For most B2B resellers, we recommend integrating WEDOS API into your system to facilitate the process for both you and your end customers.
| ✅ Pros | ❌ Cons |
|---|---|
| Only the B2B reseller needs a WEDOS account | B2B reseller needs to integrate the solution into their system |
| End customers use the reseller’s admin panel | Custom code required |
| Recommended for 100+ services | |
| Automation available |
WAPI works universally for both Protection, and Zone (DNS).
You can find complete information about WAPI in the WAPI Manual.
To set up resale via WAPI, follow these steps:
- Activate WAPI on your WEDOS account and allow access from your admin panel’s IP, according to the Manual.
- In your system, set up WEDOS.protection and WEDOS DNS WAPI commands as needed. Use your WEDOS account’s WAPI login information, so your end customers do not need to create their own WEDOS accounts.
- Set up the appropriate invoicing in your system.
Best Practices
You can find more information about best B2B resale practices in the following articles:

FAQ
Can we switch from reselling to WEDOS end customers to reselling via WAPI?
Yes, you can. Either way, the services are in your customer account. It is up to you what sort of service management you choose for your end customers. You can even combine both ways, if you have good reason to.
Are you planning to release plugins for common administration systems, such as DirectAdmin?
Yes, we are currently developing WEDOS.protection and WEDOS.zone plugins for DirectAdmin.
