Service Removal Preparations
Before removing a domain from the system, check its type A and AAAA DNS records and make sure to direct them to the web hosting server.
You can direct DNS to your web hosting in the following ways:
- If all your services are with WEDOS, we recommend directing your domain to a service ⧉. This will set the required DNS records automatically.
- If you have web or email services with another provider, set type A ⧉ and AAAA ⧉ DNS records manually ⧉. Avoid changing MX records.
- If you want to use a different DNS provider, change DNS servers (NSSET) ⧉.
Keep in mind that changing DNS records generally takes tens of minutes (this includes directing a domain to a service), changing DNS servers up to 48 hours.

Do I need to change DNS servers before removing a domain from WEDOS Protection?
No, you do not need to change DNS servers. Just change the DNS records so that the domain directs to the web hosting server, instead of the WEDOS Protection proxy.
