WEDOS.protection Grafana Panel

The Grafana panel extends the Protection statistics presented in the Domain Dashboard. You can use it to create detailed reports, or monitor traffic live. The dashboard features the following statistics:

  • Total requests
  • Request distribution by country
  • TOP10 Client IPs
  • TOP10 Locations by speed
  • Anomalies by Location detail
  • Regular traffic by Location detail
  • All traffic in Locations by time and detail
  • Unique IP count
  • HTTP response code, method, and version detail
  • TOP10 URLs
  • User Agent detail
  • All requests by time
  • Access distribution by ASN

Reported error code 456 means the source was blocked.


New Grafana Panel

Grafana panels are currently shared by all domains in the account.

To create a new Grafana panel, follow these steps:

  1. Log into the WEDOS.global admin panel ⧉.
  2. Select any domain.
  3. In the Tools section of the Dashboard, click the Create Panel button.
  4. Enter and confirm a password to access the panel.
  5. Click the Submit button.

Grafana Panel Management

Once the panel is created, you can manage it directly in the Grafana interface, or change the password.

As it is a separate interface, you will need to login using a system-generated username and the password set during panel creation. Follow these steps:

  1. Log into the WEDOS.global admin panel ⧉.
  2. Select any domain.
  3. In the Tools section of the Dashboard, copy the username and click the View Panel button.
  4. Use the username and password to log into the newly opened Grafana interface.

Filter Domains

Since a Grafana panel is shared for all domains in the account, you may want to filter specific domains to see specific statistics for that domain. Follow these steps:

  1. Log into the Grafana Panel ⧉.
  2. In the filters section, select the domain (or multiple domains) among Request Hosts.

Change Panel Password

To change the password, follow these steps:

  1. Log into the WEDOS.global admin panel ⧉.
  2. Select any domain.
  3. In the Tools section of the Dashboard, click the Reset Password button.
  4. Enter and confirm the new password.
  5. Click the Submit button.

FAQ

I can’t find the Grafana username, what should I do?

Try clicking the View Panel button anyway, then return from the Grafana page back to the customer administration panel. If the username still doesn’t appear, resfresh the page.

A graph or table isn’t loading properly, how do I fix it?

Try the Refresh button in the top right corner of the Grafana panel.

How do I log out of WEDOS Grafana?

Use the link https://grafana.wedos.com/logout.
