WEDOS Protection Subscription Plans
WEDOS Protection offers multiple subscription plans based on the needs of different users:
- Start: This plan is ideal for users interested in setting up basic protection and cache for their website and forget about it. It’s the cheapest plan, and completely free if installed via the WordPress plugin.
- Advanced: The default plan offers a mostly automated experience, but includes some basic user settings. It is also the plan you get to test during the trial.
- Expert: This significantly upgraded plan offers all the available settings, as well as limited (8/5) customer support.
- Ultimate: For customers who want an individual solution, the Ultimate plan presents the ultimate flexibility and full customer support.
- NIS2: These special plans are developed for users who fall under the EU’s NIS2 directive. For more information, visit wedos.eu ⧉.
WEDOS Protection Trial
For each domain you add to WEDOS Protection, you get a free 15-day trial period. During this time, you can use all options of the Advanced subscription plan.
To start a new WEDOS Protection trial, follow the instructions in the article Global – Add a Domain.
Upon adding the domain, you will receive an email about the start of that domain’s trial version. There you can find the following information:
- Expiration date: A date 15 days after ordering the trial version, after which the system considers the service expired.
- Service shutdown date: On this date (3 days after expiration), the system will shut down the Protection service for the given domain. You can resume operation by upgrading to the full version.
- Service deletion date: On this date (30 days after expiration), the system will remove the domain from the Protection service. You can restore operation by adding the domain again, but only in the full version.
Upgrade to Full Version
In the WEDOS Global trial setup email, you will also find a link to issue an invoice in the form of https://client.wedos.com/upgrade-trial/(unique_code)
. To access this from the administration panel, follow these steps:
- Log into the WEDOS Global administration panel ⧉.
- Choose the domain to upgrade.
- In the left menu, select Subscription.
- In the Service is in Trial mode alert, click the Upgrade TRIAL service to full version link.

Fill in the form and click the Order Service button.
The full version of the WEDOS Global Protection service becomes valid from the trial version expiration date.
Apply Discount Code
The discount coupon applies only to the order it’s applied to, including the period (month/year). All further payment requests will be issued by the system for the full price of the service.
Before applying the discount coupon, make sure you have selected the correct subscription type. To get the most out of the discount, we recommend an annual subscription, as using the coupon for the monthly option only discounts one month.
To redeem a discount coupon, enter its code in the box on the upgrade order form and click the Apply Discount button.

Change WEDOS Protection Plan
To change a domain’s WEDOS Protection subscription plan or billing period, follow with these steps:
- Log into the WEDOS Global administration panel ⧉.
- Choose the domain you want to change the plan of.
- In the left menu, click Subscription or NIS2 Subscription.

You cannot change the currency using the subscription interface, the indicator is only informative. The currency of any invoices is set according to the country specified in the service’s billing information. To change it, follow the guide Services – Billing Information ⧉.
Follow these steps to change a domain’s subscription:
- In the Subscription interface, click the plan you want to set.
- As part of the plan change, you can also change the billing period by clicking the switch at the top of the page.
- Confirm the changes with the Change subscription button.

Changing the plan or billing period of one domain does not affect other WEDOS Protection services.
